My wife, Lexi, and I have four really cool kids who are to thank for all of this.
I like to think I'm a professional dad, but (like all professional dads) I'm really just a big kid with a fully developed prefrontal cortex and the ability to herd many children in the same direction and have a good time doing it. We're a homeschool family who, at the end of the day, wants to give our kids the best childhood possible while teaching them how to be genuinely good people and successful in life. Recess is a means to that end, and if that resonates with you...well, you're in the right place.

Coach P! Mom of five, and daughter to retired (legendary) gym teacher - working with kids runs in the family. Patcine is an instant favorite in every room - full of life, fun and energy. Give her .5 seconds and she’ll win over almost any kid (2.5 seconds for the extra shy ones). She just gets kids and they love her for it.
Patcine brings with her many years of youth coaching experience and a passion for inspiring fearlessness and confidence in her kids. She’s the quintessential cool mom - brimming with contagious positivity and a maternal warmth that our team would surely be missing without her.

Knox is our beloved student helper at Recess. If you have boys, Knox is exactly what you want your sons to grow up and be like. Smart, patient, encouraging and attentive. He brings the cool big brother energy and an extra set of capable eyes, ears and hands. We love him and your kids will too!
